Wow, that’s a lovely piece of communication.

So why do we forget to treat ourselves / adults with the same care & protection we naturally feel toward young ones – because the adult role does involve self-sacrifice to a degree, because historically our social system of production has required a fair bit of desensitisation, many reasons i guess. But it should be – needs to be all about cherishing i guess xx

You’re right, it’s funny we find it so hard to give care & protection & cherishing to ourselves. So many ways to desensitise yourself instead.

I think deep down people know what’s going on with the addictive tobacco thing. And even though it’s easy to be deceptive toward yourself, it’s not so easy to deliberately mislead a child.
