Spell with flickr

Spell with flickr is one of my favourite sites ever. You can make a word using images taken from the flickr photo site.

eg, what on earth is the:
letter B typewriter key letter L letter O letter G IMG_5673_3S letter P letter H letter E IMG_5579 letter e ?

Notes:
1) there’s no mention of copyright, if you really want to be sure, you’ll need to check every letter, eg the question mark is fine, it has creative commons license.. which really means we should have the author’s name as well as the link.

Ah i shouldn’t have raised that issue should i?

2) the images all come from the flickr “one letter group”.

3) how did i make the letters come into this blog post?
> Via > Edit HTML (top right) > Paste

Blogger doesn’t have an “embed” button, you just need to paste things directly into the HTML code.

4) you can take a screengrab and save it as an image (but how will you acknowledge all the photographers then?)

happy spelling,
kind regards, michael

  1. Thanks Michael, just put one on my blog. You have given me some enthusiasm again. We all get bogged down with other issues and put off what we really need to be concentrating on. Well this for today anyway. Have 4 more projects over the weekend…..looking forward to retirement
