Collage from photos taken at the sessionDelia Bradshaw was invited to speak at the April '06 induction sessions for the Adult Learning Australia (ALA) "e-Learning Creative Community Partnerships" Projects.

Delia has provided inspiring and thought-provoking reflections to adult literacy teachers in the community on many occasions. Vital questions about learning and community are sometimes quietly ignored, when using technology for learning in adult community settings. So we were thrilled to have this masterful and engaging leader share her views on the subject of "Community, Learning and Technology".

On this first page, Josie Rose introduces Delia, and reminds us of one VALBEC conference when the audience was roused by her words. Please indulge yourself in this recording (total playing time: 33min). (If you would like to read along, you can print the speech via the downloads page, or here (WordDoc: 105kb).)
